Is this enclosure to small for my BPs?
Hey everyone I was just wondering if the enclosure were to small for my ball pythons. I'm will switch them over to the bigger ones when I get them but is it okay to keep them in here for now, or is it too small? Any health risks??

It may be a little to small. You want to be able to fit 2 snug hides in there and still have some room for him to stretch out.

Eh, in a rack system you can keep BPs up to 500 grams in a 6-quart because the whole thing's a hide. If they're not in a rack, space for two hides and a water bowl is a must.

I think that size is fine. Most breeders I see keep them in smaller, but it's also super dark in the room and when you close the bin. So I'm not so sure. In my racks I always have two hides for them to feel secure in. If you can fit two hides and a water bowl I say you are good to go. If you can't fit two hides then I'd say smaller water bowl? or just a new bin all together would be necessary

You should be fine with them in a rack, kike stated its pretty much a gaint hide. Just don't "jam" the big snake in a little tub.. lol

that snake is fine for that tub. and he can still grow a little before moving him up. remember if you move the snake up too big too fast can cause some to go off feed. if this happens, clutter up the tub to make him feel more secure. crumble up news paper works well. good luck don
