    Yours is a ball python and not a boa, right? If so, I would not worry about it. You can try soaking him for a short time, but if he wants to eat, he can eat. Boas are slightly more touchy with digestion, so I wouldn't necessarily advise that if he were a boa with a sausage butt like that, but a ball python should be fine.
