Oh man, I'll go against the grain here and say I baby talk to my animals and it's borderline ridiculous. If I open a tub, it's followed by "Good morning my beautiful prince/princess, you look so beautiful today ohmygoodness, I can't believe what a pretty prince/princess you are. I handle all my reptiles, I don't "pet" my snakes (I do pet my turtle, he loves getting his shell rubbed!), but I hold them and talk to them all the time.

I stroke my balls haha but I talk to them when I'm doing thing with them specially if their being crabby and trying to bite. The kinda GF says its funny watching me do snake or rat chores because I'm the only person she's seen who will try and reason with them or talk to them but never baby talk I'm a big boy haha
