    Uhg... Why won't you poop??!?!?

Since I got here, my little Hypo has eaten every Monday and pooped every Saturday (sometimes Friday or Sunday). Three weeks ago she went into shed and I wasn't expecting anything until after. Fast forward a week (She ate while in blue) and she has now shed, but still nothing. Then this week she ate and still nothing.

I'm not sure how long is considered normal to go without pooping for a boa, though she did pass urates once. I am thinking about giving here a short soak because that has caused bowel movements before.

Thoughts? Am I just worrying about nothing?

My little guy usually holds his for 3+ weeks or so. I wouldn't sweat it if I were you.

Re: Uhg... Why won't you poop??!?!?

It seems like its been a while since my BP last pooped as well. Starting to get a little concerned because it seems to me that his shape isn't quite right, but I could be paranoid. He took a f/t rat fuzzie tonight, so I won't be able to post a pic for a couple of days. Just wondering if it normal for them to go weeks without going, and look rather fat.

Yep, that's normal. Some will get "sausage butt" too right before they go (their back half will look really big and swollen like a sausage).

Hahaha im going through this right now! Still waiting on my borneo 6 months and counting... where is he putting it! He still eats every week.

You can soak him, it should be a problem unless he starts looking sausagey.

Yep, agreed. He'll go when he's ready. Having said that, though, a short soak won't hurt, so you could try it. But if that's doesn't bring on a poop, try not to worry about it.
