Not to worry, your success gives hope. I turned up the minimum ambient to 78 degrees. Maybe that will help.

My ambient temp is usually 80-82*....no luck for my girls! Granted, one only started pairing in January so I've got a bit of time with her. However, I'd love an ovy from the one who's been paired since October. It'll be a "who's the daddy" clutch! I'm also rigging up a webcam to put into my incubator to stream the hatching online for some of my friends who would like to watch the babies be born.

Yeah, they haven't hatched yet, but I did lower to about 79-80 at night, and also put him in if a storm was coming through, never done this before and I think I already found my own way around things!!!!

I got that storm thing figured out too. Do breed, don't feed. Good to know about the high temps. Not sure if I want to pay that kinda heating bill though. Things should warm up on their own pretty soon anyway. Wish I had a separate snake room to control temps better.

Yeah, them having their own room is awesome, and I cannot WAIT for summer so I can just turn off the little heater in there and use the AC instead, which I may not even need lol.

My buddies snake room isnt even part of his house, but I can tell you this, its WELL insulated. All of his Flexwatt together puts off enough heat to keep the whole room warm lol

Little heater? Dang, I forgot, I can point a little portable heater at them to raise their ambients a degree or two without raising the room temp. Thanks for reminding me! As for my breeders, not planning to part with any of them. With any luck I'll have baby Pieds (some with ph Clown) this summer!

    Re: First clutch ever!!

Yup they help so much, but I use it on the opposite side of the room in hopes it takes away less humidity on the side with the snakes, and it does keep that room nice and warm
