So I have an adult male boa that just got back from a breeding loan, he had a really weird poo it was beyond diarrhea and has refused 1 meal. I took him in thrusday and the vet said "I don't know" test him for parasites that test was negative. Well today talking to a few friends of mine I got an idea of what it could be and what I need to treat him. So I made another appointment with the same office but a different exotics vet. The receptionist says to me..."well make sure you keep a close eye on him because once they refuse a meal they could go really really quickly, also make sure his body temp doesn't get cold we have an emergency department that's 24 hrs please bring him in immediately if he feels cold"............................................are you kidding me!! this is why Im not a fan of vets, well a fan of cat/dog vets that have a course in reptiles! ugh!!
