So I've been reading these forums for some time now and had to share my day
First off, my wife and I got our garage cleaned out, reorganized, and freezer cleaned out in anticipation of my rodentpro order. This was my first rodentpro order and I was pretty excited about how much money I was saving overall. I got 100 small rats, 60 weaned rats, and 20 medium rats for about $290 shipping included, saving me about $500 vs buying local. I have 8 ball pythons now, one of which is my normal male Slinky who I've had for 20 years now. Another one I bought and received a couple weeks ago is a '12 female mojave named Athena. When I got Athena, the poor thing was a bit skinny and super defensive as she stuck at me constantly. I've been working with her, she's fed a few times and really beginning to calm down. Slinky usually goes off feed for a few months during the winter and he's been refusing food since November. He's a big boy at 1600g so I don't worry too much about it but yesterday he took a small rat after a 3 month break
. After my order arrived I thawed out some rats and all my snakes fed
(except for Gold, who only will take live mice). It's always nice when everyone's eating good, healthy, and the off feed times end
Non snake related but still made yesterday great..
Shined up my Camaro
Worked on the kiddo's art project (building a catapault)
Went to the movies and saw the new Oz movie (pleasantly surprised with it)
