    Emeralds are from the Western Hemisphere. Green tree pythons are from Australia and Indonesia. So you'd still be in luck if you wanted them and couldn't choose a snake from the western hemisphere for what ever reason.

    To the op. if you want a good sized, relatively easy to keep and handle snake than a bci is pretty much the perfect choice.
