2013 First clutch pictorial (Lock to Lay)

So I arrived homr from work today and found one of my Biggest Normal girls sitting on eggs.

She was projected to lay on the 22nd. Obviously she was ready to be done with these eggs.

I wanted to post some pics of this girl from Pairing to Glowing, Glow to Ovy and Ovy to Lay.

Her and my late '11 Butter male

    Glowing 2 weeks later

    The Ovy (2/20/13)

    And the clutch...

9 eggs from a proven 7 egg layer. All of her previous clutches werefrom before I had her. I let her pack on some extra weight before breeding. I am glad I did too. She was 2,260 grams when she went off feed 7 weeks ago. After Laying she is 1,406 grams and hunting, lol.

Just felt like sharing her progress.

Congrats, that is a nice size clutch.

If you don't mind me asking when did she shed after ovy? That is a quick turn around from ovy to eggs.

We just realized now that my husband labeled her Ovulation picture with her shed date... Sorry

She Ovulated on Jan 16th, shed on Feb 20th and Laid on the 13th of March. It was a quick turnaround but like I said I think she was over the whole thing and ready to start eating again, Lol

She is a Beautiful Girl and the last picture was taken with my Phone and the rest were from an actual camera. So no she didn't go Axanthic. Lol
