If we can't pick a snake in the Western Hemisphere, that rules out Green Tree Pythons which would have been my first pick. But....

If I had to pick a boa, it would be a Dumerils. But there are several very different species I like a LOT: Eastern Indigos, Mussarana, and Angloan Pythons all rank right up as favorites.

Edit: I just realized that Eastern Indigos and Mussarana are both New World species and native to the Western Hemisphere.... So I guess that my final answer would be both Dumerils and Angolan Pythons!
