If you have the money, I'd get a tessera with some hets or without. If you don't want to spend that kind of bling, you might want something like a butter motley. Just something with more than 1 gene in it. Sunkissed are nice cause they aren't cheapies like amel is now. They're about $50-$60.
If you took the time to fully understand the genetics and get to know most if not all of the morphs and how they act with eachother, you could come up with like a 5-year plan. Like starting with just butter motley, then breeding it to a amel sunkissed. You'd only get amel het caramel, sunkissed, and motley. But then you breed the babies together and maybe you'll hit the odds and get a sunkissed butter motley!
Go with whatever colors and patterns you like. With the current corn snake market, you will really need to like what you are working with.
