I'm Polish.. My name is Rafał... last letter is L with accent.. You spell it like W on begining in english words like in welcome, waco, week ect ect...


I meet One "american" person who actually paid attention and try spell it right all the time His Agrument was That this is my name and it should be spell right... Others.. Geeez.. I was called Raf Raplh Ralphie Rafa (that one is actually funnt because in polish that meens reef)... and so many other forms of my name lolz..


Seriously so many times I just use Raphael (hebrew/Spanish/Italian form of my name) it bothers me way less than other forms..
This is interesting! I've never seen (personally) the L with accent. So phonetically you pronounce your name Rafaw?
