    Baby on cool side...

Varro has been spending almost all his time on the cool side of his 20g long tank. The temps are 89-92 on the hot side, 80-84 on the cool side(this is in the hides with a temp gun that has a laser). He has a small UTH on the cool side, and a red heat bulb on the hot side. It is a screen top, but it is covered in Plexiglass except for a hole for the light and the humidity is always around 60%. He just had his first successful shed with me, and is eating fine, I'm just worried that he's not going back and forth at all. His hides are exactly the same on both sides down to the direction they face (towards the back of the tank). Any ideas?

He's doing what he wants to do. If he's still eating and otherwise doing fine, then I wouldn't stress too much over where exactly he's spending his time. Just let him do his thing, he knows what he needs.

As long as he's okay and it's not a husbandry/health issue

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much. My small rack is 80 on the cool side and my younsters spend a lot of time on that side.
