    Mystic x Pied

I have a friend who bred a mystic and a pied together resulting into mystic 100% het pieds and normal 100% het pieds. (This is correct right?) I didn't have a chance to see the mystic het pieds because he was only open in selling the normal het pieds but i'm just curious as to how expert breeders/ ball python keepers can tell the difference between the mystics and the normals in the clutch? Is it possible to visually identify a mystic from a normal? I've looked at pictures of both normals and mystics online but i really can't tell the difference. What kind of markers am i looking for? Ty! =)

He's only selling the normal ones anyway so everything for sale is priced as a normal het pied =) I'm just curious as to how the breeder can tell apart which are normals and which are mystics because the all look the same to me (the noob) haha

in the clutch, the mystics have a different color.

like seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYC9a3J0LDc it doesnt show a normal, but the color on the mystic hatchling doesnt look like the color of a typical normal hatchling. not a huge difference, but i guess in an individual clutch it wont be hard to spot.

Yes, mystics are not a subtle morph and can be easily distinguished from normals.

It's not only about the coloration it's also about the pattern.

    Can you spot the mystics?
