i guess it can work in order to recognize het clowns in a certain clutch, or when comparing siblings.

but if you, lets say, compare different pastels and pastel het clowns from different lines and breeders, i think it will be lost in the natural variety.

or if its a pairing involving a LOT of genes, it also probarbly wont work. if you get a clutch of 6 snakes that all look different because all have other morphs going on, and all of them also are 50% het clown, it will be hard to tell.
