    Re: Het Clown markers?

Sometimes the clown gene visually expresses itself in color and pattern.
Brighter and cleaner snakes compared to their regular non het counterparts for example. There are exceptions of course, but this is generally what some morph hets display.
And you can sometimes see the clown pattern breaking through. (In the dorsal or alien head patterns- for example, thicker dorsal striping in some or large key holes in the alien heads that clowns have in others.)

My pastel het clown is extremely bright and clean. Shes very yellow and not really browning out like my normal pastel. And they're roughly the same size.

There are people here who have great examples of hets that have that certain look or traits I'm talking about. A few people have posted their 66% normal het clowns and pastel het clowns with the ' look'. There is no doubt that those snakes will prove out to be 100%.

I wouldn't use this to declare that cleaner snakes with big key hole patterns are automatically het clown. But I would use it as a guide to choose from possible hets.

NERD has said on their facebook that het clowns look different and have a visual traits as well.

I'll try to find pictures later if I can.
