    My beardie and her setup!

Just thought I would show her off since she is looking really nice!

Her setup is a 40 breeder tank with an 100 watt halogen bulb for basking heat, and a repti sun 10.0 for UVB. The branch is at about 90 degrees, and the platform is at about 100. Cool side is snake room temp at 78. She chows down on dusted mealworms and superworms twice a week, and she has greens (collard, bok choy, dandelion, and romaine) available nearly every day.

Mostly just showing her off, but if anyone has any advice or changes to make, I would love to hear it!

    Thanks for looking!

    She looks great!
Temps are just right and cage is plenty spacious for her.

Not a huge fan of paper towels but hey, thats just me.
If it works for you and she is happy with it then thats all that matters.

Re: My beardie and her setup!

I'd suggest replacing that wood box with a paver stone, from Lowe's or Home Depot. They're pretty cheap. The stone will retain heat better, so your beardie can climb on top of it after the lights go out if she wants more heat. Also, stones handle poo better than wood.

    Same.
With my beardie I use linoleum tile from Home Depot, mine cage is 4x2 and I got 3 sheets that size for about 30 bucks it doesn't absorb poop or pee so when he goes, I just wipe it up and spray some disinfectant, and boom...done! it's very easy to maintain and it looks good too!!

And I got my basking rocks from Home Depot too for I think 45 cents a piece, and you can't beat that.

    My beardie and her setup!

Trust me. I started with something very basic. I spend a lot of time in pet stores finding things I think she will enjoy. This is what I ended up with. I tiled the cage myself, but before that I had tried a bunch of different substrates. Stay away from sand of course because of impaction. Your Beardies are absolutely beautiful. Pay special attention to the leatherback in shed. I'm sure you already know that though. Beardeddragon.org is a great resource for Beardies. I'm on there also.

The timer just turned the lights over and you can tell Mushu isn't happy about it.

    <---- lmao

Thank you. She was in much need of an upgrade. I've had the enclosure for a few weeks but I just put the tiles in today.
