Very pretty! How is the temperament? I have one of those coming too, but mine is a Jaya.

Very nice baby! The Kofiau's can be difficult to come by. Looks like it has a pretty good temperament, but I'm also curious to know how it really is??

Also, I am sure you're already aware of this, but for others' benefit, be careful handling at this age - neonates are extremely fragile in their first year....

This one is a sweetheart. I'm extra careful handling this one. Never remove it from a branch but instead let it crawl up onto me. A very time consuming process sometimes. Plus the helpers aren't allowed to hold it to remove any chance of accidental injury.

Although I agree to be careful when handling, I believe people are confused about just how small a "baby" chondro is. Imagine the gumballs you would buy from the grocery store machines....that's a general comparison for a chondro egg. Babies are tiny in comparison to the one pictured, about the thickness of a shoestring or slightly less. If I had to guess, I would say the animal from the OP is 8-12 months old if kept on an average feeding schedule. It may be older. Definitely past the extreme fragile stage that hatchlings pose.

    Good looking chondro too!

    beautiful creature.
He also looks angry. i mean his eyes look like they have a red brow.
Then I'm tiny like a door mouse
    Short like a bungalow house
    Minute like a pixie
You can barely even see me
