23 years strong with the same diagnosis; I'd throw some back south of the north border for ya' but I'm working and my endo and I aren't seeing eye to eye on my A1C's and my tests at the moment...hang in there! An insulin pump was the best thing for mine to ever happen and they're doing incredible things with eyelet cell transfer and some other things with gene therapy. It's a diagnosis, not a death sentence...keep your chin up!

That's hilarious about your naming it! Mine was marketed as being "charcoal" gray but I refer to it as "gunsmoke" gray, lmao! My current one has taken a beating as well and I'm on number three from the original one they put me on after upgrades and whatnot. I'm sorry you're in a bit of funk, that sucks but I hear ya' on that. Two years ago in May I wrecked as a result of an insulin/hypoglycemic reaction and broke my femur, several ribs, collapsed a lung and bruised the other, etc. so I can relate to feeling the "weight" of living with and trying to manage this disease, especially long-term. It gets old in a hurry, lol! Don't let it beat you, even if it gets you down for a few.
