Why do I suddenly want every BP I see??

It was going fine with Bryan and Kay for 3 years. Then after 2 failed clutches (one accidental), I hatched Ace and Brianna in 2009. Not much interest in breeding BPs at that time but then last year I hatched another clutch from Bryan and Kay, and it seems an addiction has crept in. I have added a very light normal male and an arguably unattractive pastel female to the collection this year, so I am up to 6, not counting my 4 other snakes. And despite the fact that I am currently out of room, I find normals to be really pretty and so I still have the urge to buy every time I see a nice looking adult, despite the fact that I must resist. Anyone else have this issue?

I barely got my first BP but now I just wanna buy more and increase my collection with different morphs and everything! Kinda crazy since I wasn't into snakes at all a month ago haha its an addiction just llike tattoos and piercings

I have the same urge too. I think it's the same thing as when girls want babies all of a sudden... only my urge is with snake babies.

I went from 0 to 11 in 6 months, also add in the rat colony, and yea...I have no idea what you're talking about. Addiction? Nawww. Never heard of it

There is no possible way this could be called an addiction! I went from 0-18 in less than a year, most in the first 6 months.

I quote those numbers as well. Added the big rat colony too! We are at 22 now. We've traded, bought, and sold so many different BP's these last 2 years, but we finally have the collection right where we want it. So, I told the wife no more snakes for awhile

I second that! I originally told myself I'd never go outside of BPs, now I'm looking at Hog Island and BCIs (just need to convince the significant other)!! Don't know about piercings, but definitely like tattoos, start with one and then your body is covered in no time!
