I use an RHP for my green tree python, but belly heat is not appropriate for them. When I get a stack for my boas, I will be using the flexwatt. I think belly heat is best for some boas that may have more sensitive digestion than the average BP. But I also think belly heat is generally better for BPs since they utilize hides more than boas. The RHP will heat the top of the hide box, but it may be tricky to get the temp up to 90 inside the hide box.

Also, RHPs are a lot more expensive then getting the flexwatt from AP along with the enclosure. Don't get me wrong - I am a HUGE fan of the RHPs. I love how it works for my GTP, couldn't ask for better! But there are times when I think flexwatt is more appropriate.
