He's a cute little worm for sure!
Part of the fun in breeding ball pythons is we sometimes get these cool looking babies. For example, I bred my beautiful normal female to my sweet fire male, and much to my surprise nearly every baby that hatched had a granite type thing going on. No clue where it came from, because neither the mom nor the dad have any remotely granite type markings. If it happens this year from a repeat of that pairing, I believe I'll be holding back a boy to breed to mom and see if there is a 1 in 1,000,000 chance something wild happens.
Another example is my little low white pied male. Now he doesn't have any back stripe to speak of, and neither do my two het pied females. But every pied and het pied he sired last year had a back and/or tail stripe. Weird.
