GOOD LUCK, remember HER PACE ONLY.
Stick with this kind of plan. It's only been a few months, she'll either come around or she won't.

I can't say I blame her for being uncomfortable with a VENOMOUS snake (especially if you were handling it, which you might not have been). Perhaps ask her to try just letting him crawl across her hand while she's touching your hand? That way, she doesn't have to actively move toward him.

Your boyfriend is a jerk if he and/or you actually believed that line. I would have calmly explained where he could put his friend's snake and left.

He didn't actually mean it... if I really didn't wanna hold it, I didn't have to. I just wanted to get over my fear of snakes. He doesn't actually use that line against me lol.

Well, in that case, glad you talked yourself into the addiction.

My GF was the same way, she didn't wanna touch my BP and was scared. She's seen me grabbing him with ease and so I let her just touch him while I had him distracted and looking a different direction, she saw he wasn't threatened and so she tried holding him and she loves holding him now. Might just be a time thing, then again sometimes some people don't get over their fears best of luck though.

rolf I know this is supposed to be a serious thread but I'm cracking up over here. Anywho, my boyfriend isn't super fond of snakes either. He seems interested in Allure but will not hold or touch him. I figure he will eventually but he won't if I keep pushing him to.
