My family got a leopard gecko a long time ago, when I think I was three... ? Anyway, I was too afraid of him to have anything to do with him since I didn't know squat about reptiles and nobody cared to teach me. It wasn't until a few years after that poor gecko passed away did I discover... drum-roll... the addiction!
It took me 5 months of constant nagging until I picked up a harlequin wide striped (labeled Normal) ball pythons. Yesterday, I just got my second snake- an Orange Dream Ball Python being sold as a normal at PETCO. In fact, they were on sale for $40!
Anyway, now my mom said no more snakes. Being a smart@$$, I said I'll start getting lizards and geckos then. Funny thing is, she didn't argue about that!
