If I had a dollar for every "girl" I brought home who was was boy, I'd be rich.

Some were my own fault for not checking myself and others were from 'reputable' breeders who fell asleep at the wheel.

I just traded my own Lola and Ivy for a "female" sub-adult Albino Kahl Boa on the condition/promise the guy was keeping them both for himself and not only did he trade them away almost immediately to who-knows-where, the Boa is a boy.

I'm still grieving that I don't know where my girls went.

Trying to decide if filing a BOI on him will do any good.

That's terrible. I'm sorry that happened to you. There are too many dishonest people in the world and in the snake business, and I don't see why people have to be shady like that. If I say I'm going to do something, I'm going to follow through with it. I don't know why that's so hard for some people. Have you posted pics of your girls? That maybe they'd pop up somewhere? I would be sad just not knowing that they were in a good home and being taken care of.

Now that I've learned how to probe, I'll be sure to check myself if I'm in doubt! I know that's not an option when shipping, though.

They are very sweet and sensitive girls and i worry about their welfare.
