First blood...correcting mistakes already!

Picked up my new lil guy at the Chattanooga repticon. I got to check another species off the wishlist! I originally had him in the bottom-most bin of the ball QT rack but I believe it was too hot as I can't get him to eat yet(hot end was setup to hit 89-90f). I moved him to a smaller tub and have the gradient setup from 78f to 85f, and added alot of crumbled newspaper.

I can't get over this guy! He won't eat yet but is almost as curious as my burms, finding every opportunity to spy out his tub at what's going on. Hope to get weight on him soon as he's too skinny for my liking.

Aww he is pretty! Congrats on your new addition. Kudos for correcting the problem....as that was to hot for him. Also it's a good idea to give him a water bowl that is big enough that he can get his whole body into to soak himself when he wants. Keep that crumpled paper in there with him, as he needs to feel secure. Try not to fool with him much, and let him get settled in. Give it a few days and I bet he will eat for you.

I agree with Krys, I gave all of my STPs a little time before trying to feed them when I first got them home. Also make sure the water bowl is weighted enough so he wont knock it over or dont your choice My guys constantly used to contantly knock over their water when getting out after a good soaking.

heyyy i was at the chattanooga show too! i remember seeing this little guy. were you with your girlfriend holding him next to the table? if so, i asked you if you'd picked him up and you said not yet. lol i picked up this little (for now lol) retic.

I was the guy with my girlfriend next to the table holding the blood ha. We ended up not getting him.
