ok so 3 weeks ago i got home really late and remembered i had to feed my spider cause it eats live and i had a rat just hanging out in a tub. so i went in the room opened the tub and and started to feed the snake but it was a pretty big rat( thats all i can find at pet co) so it was taking its time so i left its tub open so i could get a pic of it yawning after it was done so i went and sat in the chair right next to the rack and ened up falling asleep. i woke up at 2 30 ish like 2 hours had passed so i jumped up and it was gone i started looking everywhere and no luck so i figured that there is no way out of the room so i would go back to bed since i knew it had just ate and would be hiding.(also it was super dark and i knew it was going to start its shed cycle soon). so i looked in the morning and still nothing. i figured ok it just ate and its going into shed its going to really not want to come out. so i thought ok ill give it some time to do its thing and come out. i put out a water bowl on the floor and put hides down the room is at about 78 degreens on the floor so i knew it could survive. fast forward to today almost 3 weeks later boom!! i walk in the room sit down i look at the empty 2 gal fish tank(still full and filter running) and i see something stuck against the filter i go and look and its snake shed i pull it out uncrumbel it to see the pattern and yup it was the spider i had to have happened over night cause i was in there the night before. i though it had to be close by and i started to move things around and i found the rest under a dresser. i got to my lazy boy in there and i moved it and bam!!! there was the snake. i felt lake a kid at christmas!!!
ok so i picked it up made sure it was all ok checked to see if it had any shed still stuck, nope none. so i put it on the scale and still at 650 ish grams. now she is back in her home and is going to eat good tonight. and yeah i understand that that was pretty irresponsible of me to fall asleep and all of that but i learned my lesson. its never going to happen aging i was way too worried. thanks for reading my long story

congrats! must be a nice feeling. i havent lost one yet (knock on wood). lol but i swear if i left the lid off my bee she wouldnt even know. she loves her hide. lol hardly ever see her leave it.

yea i would have never expected it from the spider its the same way. but i an one happy person right now. (knock on wood with you)

Glad you found your snake. Mine was out for like 20 minutes one time and i was all freaked out. Irs the greatest feeling when you find them.
