    I'm not "up" on herp laws, per-say...as I only own 1 measly BP. My question is, are the politicians who sign/create these bills usually dems, reps, other? Or is it a combination of all the above? Not that it really matters in the end, I guess...

    Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Dem's started the issue, and a few rep's have hopped on the bandwagon. I think the dem's are the driving force, but I'm not entirely sure.
