IMHO hypo is 2nd only to pied as a "recessive" with co-dominant tendencies. Certainly some het hypos can be dark and most het hypo's don't shed clear but I've seen bright clean looking het hypos that do shed clear. Your odds probably aren't great on this one being a random het hypo but if you find yourself working with a hypo gene male you might put them together just in case.
