Whether or not it is a Sterling has be become of little consequence in the end. It is how things have been handled by both parties.
What it seems is that there was information omitted in the deal that could have saved a lot of trouble, but more importantly is the the uncovering of the blatant flipping of the snakes.
There are procedures that reputable resellers follow that do not seem to be going on here. This poor animal is just getting passed on and on and on.
Also, both of you have burned a lot of bridges with the public in two ways:
1. How you handle conflict and/or dissatisfied customers
2. Your blatant poor choices for potential breeding stock. Quality in = quality out. IMO this snake should never have been considered for a breeding program. If it is a Sterling it is pet quality at best. Any time you have to question the genetics, the snake is not a great example and should not be used as breeding stock. People wonder why markets get flooded with poor examples, and this is exactly why. Even the nicest parents throw a off hatchling now and again, and IMO only the best from the clutches should be future breeders. But I digress...
Either way, not a chance I do business with either of you in the future. That may not matter to you, but I am sure I am not the only one that feels that way.
