Should I be concerned?
One of my Lessers has what looks like a scab on the side of her mouth. I feed F/T and she doesn't get aggressive. So could it be the Cypress substrate i'm using.

When she ate yesterday, there was nothing inside. It looked normal.

Re: Should I be concerned?
Opened her mouth and found this white covor over her left tooth which seems to be missing. But shes had this scab when she fed and she seemed to eat fine.

I suggest a vet trip. It might be the on set of mouth rot.
I hope not! Get it checked out before it gets any worse.
I wish you luck.

If you can, quarantine her from the others, until fixed.
Clean her tub extra good, wash hands and all other objects prior to feeding n handling of other snakes.

Should I be concerned?
I had this exact thing happen to my little boy a while back, what I did was get some betadine a a local pharmacy, dilute it with water until it was a light tea color, and dab it in the area with a q-tip every or every other day (depending on how well she takes to the routine) In the meantime, keep your tub super clean, I would consider switching her off of any loose substrate and on to paper towels for a little while. While this scab looks a bit bigger than the one mine had, chances are good that she will shed out of it. Give her a shed or two on this routine, and make sure that the site isn't hindering her eating. If it is, or the issue remains after a couple sheds, I would take her to a vet. Best of luck, hope she gets better!
