Exactly my first though. Too big, a snake big enough to eat that rat wouldnt fit in that hide. I have the same hide for one of my little guys

No it's a small rat the insides jus kinda all sunk an slumped over from being dead an layin in that position for a few hours. It looks a lot bigger in this pic then it actually is. An na I don't kno tha weight I jus buy a 3 pack of "small rats" from petco. It's tha smallest size of rat I can find in my area in Utah.

When I picked tha rat out to throw it away it looked like a rat pancake due to gravity which is why it looks so big in tha pic...

I thought the same thing when I first saw the pic. No way he is going to try to take that thing down.

Lol he has eatin this same size for tha last consecutive 4 weeks and about a month 1/2 before that before a minor food strike. Like I said... this rat looks a lot bigger than it actually wuz... it wuz about as thick as a pancake when I picked it up because all of its guts an insides flattened an spread out from laying on its side...

    Rat pillow :/

You get the three pack from petco that I used too get ha I breed own rats now its easier for me. Those little three packs are nice, gotta watch it cuz sometimes they give you ones that are lot bigger than other two (not saying anything bout pray size in pic) I had it happen couple times where one was good size bigger then the rest so I decided time to breed own.

There are a lot of people saying the same thing, that it looks a bit big. I agree.

Feeding prey that's too big is one of the main things that will cause them to go on a feeding strike. There's no mom and pop pet shop near you? They can usually get you more sizes. If he eats it, he eats it. I'm just saying it could cause strikes for a while.
