I agree - he's very pretty . . . and he has a neat Harry Potter + Loki helmet marking going on there! I'm assuming the name is from Thor/Avengers? Welcome to the forum and I'm sure others here can give you great advice on some cool morphs to pair him with. I'm honestly relatively new to the scene myself, therefore I can't give much advice. If you haven't looked at this website yet (worldofballpythons.com/morphs), I'd head over there and take a look at some morphs; it has an extensive list of combinations you can look at - maybe take a look at some Hypo/spider/??, or perhaps any morph with Hypo or Spider, and see how you like them! Also, it may help recommendations if you give a price range you are hoping to stay in. Have fun with your new baby, and good luck not getting sucked into the addiction!

    Welcome to the site!

I would breed him to a mojave het hypo (or a full mojave hypo). You would have a chance at producing a Hypo Mojave Sider from that pairing: http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...mojave-spider/

yeah i was thinking about doing that but i was emailing garrick and he was saying a hypo pastel would throw a lot of different morphs. If i went with a butter and got a butter bee i would go crazy but i don't know how much a butter female runs or if i should even try. My spiders dad was a bumblebee and his mom was a Spider HET hypo so he is only 50% but it would be nice to prove him.

If he is only 50% het, then I would avoid pairing him with anything that is possible het hypo. To prove him out it would be best to put him with a visual hypo.

If you don't want to go the hypo route, pastel, yellow belly, fire, or a BEL complex (Mohave/Lesser/Butter) would all be excellent choices and are fairly inexpensive.

Awww, great looking Spider. What a funky head pattern! He's got great markings, definitely a looker. I have to agree with some of the others above...you should take a look through the big morph list at World of Ball Pythons and see what YOU like and what you might like to make...then go from there.

Re: My new Spider HET hypo "Loki"

I think i'm gonna wait a few months and get a Group Specials of one male visual hypo, two or three females, one of them being a visual hypo. It just seem like the right thing to do....any thoughts on the combo i should go with feel free to post away Keep in mind the male will be hypo and one of the females will be hypo
