Hi guys,

Sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm beginning to breed rats (just one 1:3 group) and had a question. If all my females are hooded (I have the option of black, beige and brown - I'll probably get one of each) and I get a male who is a solid coat color, will the babies all have a chance to be solid as well?

Clearly this isn't a big issue - they're all getting fed after all. I just personally really like the solid colorings and was wondering if I get a solid agouti male say, and breed him to all three different colored hooded females, if I could potentially get babies with solid coats. So, solid blacks, agoutis, and beiges.

Thanks for any input you guys have, it's much appreciated
