I feed all of my (11) bp's in their tubs. None have them have shown "cage aggression". Some of them are hissy butts, but they don't care if it's feeding time or not, they just enjoy hissing at me. While others are sweeties.
IMO feeding in a separate enclosure is not my ideal set up is this - Ball pythons are notorious for being picky eaters, they seem to feel more comfortable inside their home tubs than being moved for feeding. Secondly, I really do not feel comfortable playing the grab game with pythons who are in "FOOD" mode.
There are plenty of people that feed in a separate container, and it works wonderfully for them. This is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt![]()
