The pastel is low quality. It's already browned out as a juvi. The others are decent and the prices seem fair though.

I would throw 400.00 at him, they are nice snakes. (Be aware, Pastel has already browned out pretty good though).

You said in your other post you want to get into breeding. How much are you looking to spend? I ask because it would be a bummer to max out your budget and end up with more males than you can use for your females.

If it were me, I would be more inclined to spend my money on less snakes with more females in the group, but for the money you are talking at the moment you will have a long wait before you get breeder sized females.

Option 2 is to pick up the package or a similar one outlined above and add some big normal or single gene females if you can afford to.

I'm only saying this because a lot of people just starting snatch up males because they are cheaper but then don't have enough females to make the males profitable.

If you don't care at all about a quick return on your investment, or a return at all, get what makes you happy.

A male and female mojo pair is not at all a bad place to start.

    If...

you are planning on breeding Ball Pythons, there is no reason to buy a male Spider and/or male Pastel. Get the female Mojave, if you need to spend your money, but I would not buy the pair if there is a chance they are related. When you are a small time breeder, you need QUALITY stuff or you will not sell squat once you start hatching your own stuff.

I certainly would not get into breeding like this.

Take your time, find the morphs and combos you like. Find the best examples of the morph you like as you can, not the first cheap thing you stumble on. The ball python market is flooded with poor quality snakes from inferior bloodlines that no one wants because too many new people just jump on the first cheap thing they find thinking they'll make their money back in no time. This is a big mistake. There are many good breeders out there with high quality stock, and if you are only producing poor quality babies from cheap stock, you'll never be able to sell your babies.

You don't say how much experience you have with ball pythons, but breeding is a big step to take. If you sincerely hope to make babies that you can sell, then take the time and trouble to find the best parent stock you can, so your babies can be even better.

Like the others said, don't worry about males now.
Buy females now and males a year or two later.

But the prices you listed are fair for those morphs.
