Nicest thing someone has said to me is at the end of my summer research job in September I had a performance review, and both my bosses told me that I impressed the heck out of them and they've never seen someone so comfortable in the field and identifying fish before. Then they told me about all the "tests" they were giving me and how I did so well that they are giving me a promotion this summer. I couldn't wipe the smile off my faceIt feels nice to be told that you are great at what you love!
