    A well thought out and designed glass tank can have the same, or gosh darn close, results. That's why.

    My only concern with using glass is the unfortunate reality of potentially cracking the front pane of glass by accident, as the other sides are covered in sound proofing insulation... and, it looks great! Holds heat perfectly. With the screen covered with glass (except for ventilation "strips" on either end), I have actually held TOO MUCH humidity in my "fish tank". Someone wrote about using scuba diving material for insulation, once. The options are endless!

    My next enclosure will most likely be a PVC of some sort due to the only fragile part of them being the glass doors, which are replaceable, and my glass enclosure sitting proudly next to it!
