baths?
Ok, so I see a lot of pictures (not here) of people letting their snakes take baths. or maybe it's a soak, rather. What about my little Sand Boa? Does he need to soak once in awhile?

Nope, unless they have stuck shed, and maybe a rinse if they rubbed in some poo or something. Never use anything other than water and not even warm to the touch. They don't need a bath as it may remove needed natural oils on the scales!!

^ Agreed. If you think your snake might want to soak, provide a water bowl large enough for him to fit in. Otherwise, there is no reason to force a healthy snake to soak other than the reasons listed above.

x3!! Good advice.
I might add that some of the pictures you may have seen of boas in a bath tub are taken that way simply because it is very hard to get a boa to stay still for a picture, lol!! Putting them in a tub (with no water) is an easy way to keep them somewhat contained for a photo.....
