I've personally never tried to breed anything that I felt wasnt in perfect health or on medication. So cant answer that for you. As for the temperature change i'm not sure but it shouldnt. I dont cool my balls for breeding as it isnt needed. I maintain my reptile room at 78-80 degrees all year long. with belly heat hot spot at 93. I dont have any problems breeding like this.
