Try mice. I know you said hat the breeder was feeding it rats, but sometimes they switch. I purchased a proven breeder female albino that the breeder said would only eat mice and had never taken a rat. When I received her I fed her mice for a couple of weeks just to get her eating for me. Then I tried rats. She hasn't eaten mice since. Sometimes A change in their home changes their taste.

I think im going to try mice hoppers next time i try to feed him.
