Ovi and moving question

So my big girl that has been bred to my PYB ivied today



But my question is......I'm moving during the next two weeks will that affect her laying???

Sometimes they prefer tighter tubs. I was wondering what kind of substrate that is? It's kind of dark, but not enough to be cypress? As far as the move affecting her laying eggs - it could sheerly from a stress standpoint. But, there's nothing you can do about it other than wait and see.

You shouldn't have any issues, just transport her carefully.

The enclosure is a lot bigger than it looks, she just crammed herself into one little side. The bedding is cypress, it just hasn't been cleaned as i'm putting it off for the move.

Thanks for the heads up, I plan on moving her at the last possible minute, in her tub to help reduce stress.

I also just transported two big girls yesterday that have been locking for the last few months. One of the girls is glowing. I'm hoping that everything goes well, but we will just have to see I'm in the same boat as you are!

maybe transport in the original enclosure, and fix in some heat packs at one end of the enclosure?

whats the climate? where i am, central europe, southern Germany, its freezing outside, its cold to the point that if i would move my computer right now i would not connect it and switch it on immediately.... out of fear it got so cold that its drawing moisture once i set it up in a warm place.

Anyway, i would say, focus on moisture/humidity and temperature. Stress due to travel can be reduced but cannot be avoided, if its a 4 hour truck ride then you just cannot change that. for any more help, we need to know how far it is and what mode of transportation.
