Sorry I am not trying to talk you out of a blade but NEVER forget the 4.9 is called 'The Widowmaker' it has teeth and is not afraid to bite. They have a rep for power lots of power. They also have that ability to instantly convert a little gust into lift and instant power and the sad part of that it goes as fast as it comes. I owned one and after a very painful lesson and watching a friend's lesson I sold mine and have never looked back. If you want float and pop a water kite might be better I hate inflatables so I posted a couple of self inflating ones I have used flysufers never a neo but they seem good.

I am aging, 44 this year, and have had some bad hurts. (broken neck, broken heel ...) and have a solid and great respect for the power of wind. I have kited for a long time, 2003 or so. I have watched far too many younger inexperienced kite people arrive at my beach and set up a stupid big kite in dumb conditions and end up with a kite in shreads and battered and bleeding, add yet another story of how dangerous kiting is. It can be but with a measure of sense and care it is as safe as any other sport.

Caution is needed blades are powerhouses and easily twice the juice in the same size as the twister. I would venture to guess that the twister 3.5 and the blade 4.9 is easily 3x the power. It is a heck more than what you have. Just be cautious. Sorry man just old guy jitters.
