Exclamation Ball Python Infection? PLEASE HELP!!!

I was just about to give my pastel ball python a bath when I noticed she had something wrong with her belly. There's three small spots where her scales look infected. It's hard to describe. I don't know when it got there because I haven't really had my BP's out of the tank that much in the past week. I was in a pretty bad car accident and I've been resting. If anyone knows what this is please let me know!

Here's a pic of one of the spots: (the only one she would let me get a picture of)

No pic.. How's the humidity levels? Any wet spots? I googled scale rot the other day and it seems to mainly be on their bellies when it happens

The bedding isn't wet. I keep the humidity at 45-50, and 60 when they're shedding. I have two BP's in the tank. I did check the other one and she's totally fine.

    Hi,

You can't link to pictures in your google mail account as we are not logged into it.

Save the picture and then host it somewhere like photobucket or imagesack.us or even in your gallery here.

    Hi,

That looks like a little bit of scale rot - which is usually caused by damp and dirty conditions.

First thing I would do is change the substrate to something easy to keep clean like newspaper or paper towel and the second thing is stop bathing them - they don't need it unless they are suffering from a retained shed.

You should be ok if it is just tiny spots like that as it will probably go away with the next shed.

I've been using paper towels ever since I got them because it's easier to clean up, and I just switched to substrate less than a month ago. Now I regret that :/ & she does have shed stuck on her upper body and head, that's why I was going to bathe her. I wish I would have joined this site a while ago.. I probably would have just looked on here before calling a vet telling them my baby's dying! Haha. Thank you so much! I'm calmed down now.
