Better with Age???
Now, we've all heard how some morphs age well(totally agree) or "get better with age"(don't agree). Seeing as how most of our purchases are hatchlings or juveniles, that's what we see when we buy them. I personally have never seen a ball that looks better as an adult as it did as a baby...even with hypos and enchis, which seem to be the two most common morphs I see described as "getting better with age". Hypos do lighten up as they age, but they lose that sharpness and intense coloration they have as babies, so I don't find them to be "better" as they get older...though I do think they age better than just about any morph out there(that I've seen, young and older). And I'm not even talking about hatchling to 500 grams "better", as many do look just as cool at 500 grams...I'm talking 1+ years/1,000 plus grams. I have a killer jigsaw around 600 grams that looks as nice as the day it was hatched, and an enchi hypo that I got at 300+ grams that is now around 900 grams that has not gotten any better or worse...but they're not old/big enough for me to say much. So, who out there has an adult ball that truly looks better than it did at 100-300 grams? Obviously, this is all subjective, as what one thinks looks better, another may not...

I'm curious to see what fire axanthics do as they age, whether the black crispness stays or if they end up looking like a hypo axanthic.

That is one I'd like to see, though to my knowledge, it's only been produced in the past year....would also love to see how Jon Courtney's (coldbloodaddict) VPI mojave true ghost ages.
And, I've caught myself, and will say I do like the look of an adult toffee/candy versus that of the hatchling.

If you into white snakes... ivories and graphites looks way better as they age... when they loose purple and yellows and become more and more white..

I definitely agree with this.
Once my hypo enchi gets a little more size and age to him, I wouldn't mind putting him in this discussion. So far, he's only gotten better.

I need to see that video. Hard to stream stuff out here. I am becoming more and more happy with my decision to add the gene. May be my smartest move yet.

Yes very smart decision there almost like the ultramels of the hypo world well maybe. I think eventually more people are going to start using dg instead of hypo or og in there combos, definitely puts you ahead of the game.
