x2! SO bad. i usually try my best not to be prejudice if i haven't actually met someone in person, but something about him has always rubbed me the wrong way in his videos.. not to mention, i find it very sketchy whenever i see "comments are disabled for this video" under a youtube video. and every single one of his are.

    old thread. lol

I'm assuming either cutting the eggs is bad or the way he is cutting the eggs is bad either way it's gruesome to watch

It's how he does it. When you cut an egg, you dont slice the entire egg open and then proceed to drag the snake out of its egg to show the camera what morph you got
    /eye roll

And yeah he sounds like a sales man

    *rise from the dead*

since the other post was risen, I wanted to rise this one as well just to provide a little bit of information.

I have now purchased two snakes from Prehistoric Pets. Both had the same issues - Mites. But, both were exceptional quality animals, and Jay bent over backwards to work with me. After reading information on their BOI's on fauna, you can expect the mites, of which I did. And just treat them in QT before moving them. And be a stickler about their boxes they come in (Burn pile with the bags too).

As far as butchering - Keep in mind that he is cutting a hole large enough to ensure a RETIC can escape the egg. Lots of retics have drowned simply because in captivity it seems they have an issue pipping on their own and need a lot of help. While yes, he does pull the snakes out to see what morphs were hit. ALL snakes seem to be fully ready to come out of the egg. And by cutting a large enough opening for them, they have an easy escape when they come out on their own. *end butcher rant*

They are good people. They have mites. But they produce amazing quality and make sure their customers are taken care of in the end. But yes, like a car salesmen, they are extremely pushy

Retics are my passion. Just ask.
