"You can totally clear that" followed shortly by me trying to pick up a broken bike with a few broken bones.
Along those same lines, "dude you can totally clear that triple strand concertina wire, we'll just put a flak over it to make sure".... In my defense I wasn't the only one that cheered him on and I thought he could do it.

This reminds me of one of the worst ideas I've ever witnessed, I had a sergeant that got the idea, during a training exercise, that he would throw himself on the concertina wire so we could breach the wire and assualt a sniper position. He was tall and thin and I am 6' and with my gear then probably around 220 or so! lol it was some good training hoah
