Piebald breeding- level of "whitness" question.

Hey guys! Does the amount of white matter when breeding piebalds to produce offspring?

Example, if i bred a high white male to a high white female, would that make more high white babies?
If i breed low white to low white= low white babies?
If i breed high white to low white = mid white babies?

Or do they just go all random?

Low white to low white= possible to produce high white?
High white to high white = possible to produce low white?

I really can't find the answer online so i'm asking here. Thanks guys! =)

The amount of white on the parent snakes does not effect the amount of white on the baby snakes. Two low whites could make high white offspring, or you could breed two high whites and get some low whites and high whites, it is all pretty random.

that was really fast! thank you sir =) I'm more of a mid- semi hi white person. I currently have what i think is the perfect mid-hi white female and am thinking of getting a cheap-ass low white one just to breed it. If it's completely random with any combination, i guess i'll save myself a few hundred dollars haha

Actually, I'm a lady lol! Glad I could help. Have you checked kingsnake classifieds for low white pieds? I also really like medium whites, I have one myself.

I agree low to med white pieds are my favorite. You really get the pattern effect from the gene and in the combos you see more of the coloration. The gene is becoming so common now that it really doesn't pay to spend more on the high whites, it doesn't effect your outcome. Its more of a preference thing.

What most people don't know is the white of a BEL is not as white as that of a pied. Pied white is much more clean and pure in my opinion.
