Done it. Probably for longer than you've been alive. Doing it now in fact, have been, as I said, for years.

i can't wait until i'm old. i'm gonna crawl wayyy up on that exact. same. horse. be grumpy, and make sure i let everyone younger know how inferior they are to me. it just seems like it'll be so much fun. still got a few years to go though.

as to the OP, from my minuscule amount of knowledge on ball python husbandry, i personally wouldn't. from watching my snakes, if the temperature and humidity are comfortable for them, they really seem to be happy when they're all curled up and hiding by themselves, so i think i'll stick to what i know works.
