Considering a BEL from a Mojo/Lesser pairing will produce Mojos and Lessers I would think the pattern would be of importance for the quality and value of the offspring. Just my 0.02
This is all that matters in a breeding program.
If you are trying to buy or make a BEL the only thing that really matters is quality of the snakes that produce it.
If I was to choose I'd go with number 1 but they are both good looking

I'm leaning more towards #1 too, the pattern is more symmetrical but still nice and busy. You really couldn't go wrong with either though.

Re: What to look for in a Mojave?
For a BEL project, I'd go with #2. The pattern is more consistent, brighter yellows, and better flames. If I were mixing it with a cinny or something dark, I'd go with #1 but my personal preference are the lighter/brighter mojaves. The BEL isn't going to show the patterning/flames, so what do you want should you get mojave babies instead of your BEL? That's the question I asked myself when picking out my BEL makers.
